Japan International Food for the Hungry (JIFH) began its work in May, 1981.
Since its beginning, JIFH has been an partner organization of Food for the Hungry International, and has worked to end the physical and spiritual hunger worldwide, as we cooperate with UN agencies and other NGOs in Asian, African, and South American countries. We strive to bring love and food to the people in spiritual and physical hunger.
Beginning in 2006, we have partnered with Food for the Hungry International Federation that has 55 member organizations that carry out projects to address the physical and spiritual hunger in 122 countries.
In 2010, we launched "Hunger Zero Africa" campaign to respond to the great needs in African continent. We start with Africa, but our ultimate goal is the world without hungers.
